Men may not become extinct after all.
A new study published in Nature has challenged current thinking that the Y chromosome is genetically decaying at a rate rapid enough to put men under threat of extinction in about 5 million years.
The previous predictions were based on some very complex thinking, but this new thinking has monkey chromosomes involved and if science has taught us anything it’s that you can’t fight monkey chromosomes.
